Almost a year ago, a good friend gave me a real white orchid in a lovely container, and assured me that it needed only minimal care to survive. As usual, I managed to kill it within two weeks. I saved the attractive planter. I knew she would be back to visit soon, so I found the original planter and purchased this orchid to put in the original planter. My friend was impressed that I had not killed it since she knows my plants always die. She stood about 2 feet from the orchid and apparently thought it was a real plant. The packaging the orchid came in was amazing--That package and packing material could survive a Cat 5 hurricane.
