I just moved and realized quickly that I needed new lighting, and when the opportunity arose to grab this lamp, I jumped at the chance. Not only is it a great lamp, but it looks pretty cool, too.Assembly was pretty simple, too. Just screw in each piece to the bottom, weighted stand and voila! You're done. The only issue I had was connecting the wired piece at the top that keeps the arm from hanging too low. It took me a bit to realize how you adjust the wire, but once I got it down, it was a snap.Immediately my boys commented how cool it looked--and they never comment on furniture accessories. At least not until this one. Not sure what that means to you, but for me, it meant that they weren't embarrassed by my stuff like they seem to be usually...so win, win, right?I love my lamp.
