One word that come to mind about this album....DAMN!!! The album opens with "My Funny Valentine", also features Billboard Charted Singles: "Suddenly I'm All Alone" (#13), and "Welcome Home" (#15), Plus the Album favorite is: "Imagination". This CD contains the 'Original' 12 Track Album, PLUS 7 (Seven) Bonus Tracks! Standouts among those are: "A Cold, Cold Winter" (A Rare B-Side Single only), and the unreleased "The Folks Who Live On The Hill". Of the Bonus Tracks a few Out-Of-Place Uptempo cuts that kinda throws the flow outta place...Just a little, but remember THESE ARE BONUS TRACKS! (You Gotta give the company credit for including them, let alone even finding these lost gems!). Don't get gun-shy because of the healty price tag...This is a Import...It's worth every penny you'll shell out for this, and NO you won't find this classic in the cheap section at your local Retail Outlet or On-Line Store for $4.00 or $6.00 because those who have the 'Original' Vinyl edtion of this ain't parting with it for a few dollars...I wait while you check around.........Did I prove my point??? Real simple....BUY IT!!! Especially if you are a lover of Strings, Powerful Arrangements, and just some straight out good singing!!!Now if Ace Records can give Walter Jackson this kind of treatment of his Okeh recordings can you imagine what they could do with Major Lance's Okeh recordings (Yeah, Sony released a Double Disc in the U.S., But it was missing several Tracks from "The Monkey Time" album as well as serveral B-Side Singles. They (Ace Records) could do wonders with Junior Parker (Duke recordings). Junior Parker's story is almost like the Major Lance? ACE RECORDS...ARE YOU READING THIS?NOTE: Someone gave this 1 (One) star, Their Review (COMMENTS) had NOTHING to do with the quality of this album!!! This had something to do with them NOT getting the Compact Discs they ordered...Amazon should REMOVE this, because again...IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS ALBUM!!!
