Far from the faithful, almost carbon-copy renditions other bands have done (which has to make you wonder, What's the point?) -- The Vindictives offer up a beer-goggled mangling (in the best possible way), complete with new arrangements, lead guitar, background vocals, shock-buzzer, and the snottiest lead singer this side of Johnny Rotten in tow. Highly entertaining. I wish they'd do all the Ramones records!
