To be honest, the book jacket attracted me to this book. I am very interested in Victorian architecture. I enjoyed the detailed descriptions of every room in the Grace Chapel Inn. Three very different sisters learn to love each other more deeply. I enjoyed the character development of not only the sisters but also their aunt and several of the town folks. I had great interest in one sister juggling a paid job outside the home, caring for her father and their home. At some point the sisters stopped showing the character that they thought was expected of them and began to be open and honest with each other in a kind way. They had obstacles to overcome and relied on their faith in God to get through the obstacles.
