Not accurateMy old Omron sphygmomanometer started failing with random errors even after putting in fresh new batteries. So I decided it was time to get a replacement. So I got this LTLKY sphygmomanometer.I was worried that the LTLKY wouldn’t work well. I was pleasantly surprised.The meter includes 4 × AA Ling Li “Super Lonlife” batteries. The battery chemistry is unclear but I doubt they are alkaline. I planned to use the original pack-in batteries for initial test but when I broke the shrink wrap seal, my hands got coated in some oily residue from the batteries. I did not want to risk contaminating the meter so I was forced to discard the Ling Li batteries. Instead, I used Sam’s Club alkaline batteries.The instructional leaflet has a lot of information albeit full of bad English such as misspellings and grammatical errors. For these reasons, it is very difficult to follow.Once powered on, I was greeted with a pleasant blue glow of the illuminated LCD display. Very nice. It went through the initial setup with date and time, although this isn’t necessary unless you make use of its built-in memory feature.I noticed the meter has an alternate micro USB connector for power. I did not test this, but I see where this is more universal and convenient than a less common barrel power connector.Another surprise was that I noticed that the cuff connectors with my Omron were very similar. Turns out, my old Omron cuff is interchangeable with the LTLKY cuff. Wow, that’s nice. I tested operation with both cuffs and got similar readings. Fully interchangeable and accurate. I can salvage the Omron cuff and save the original LTLKY cuff as a spare.I am pleased. The LTLKY sphygmomanometer works better than I expected. Just be sure to provide your own AA batteries.This blood pressure machine works well. I bought it for my mother who needed to measure her blood pressure due to some minor health issues. Fortunately, this machine works well. It gives great ease of mind for my mother whenever her pressure comes out to be normal.In summary...Pros:• Readings appear to be accurate• Cuff is legit, good build quality• Storage/carry bag included is a nice bonusCons:• Okay build quality of machine itself, but that's expected of a device in this price range.
