Audrey also loved the basics: Spaghetti al Pomodoro was an all-time favorite, particularly when returning home from her travels, as was a dish of good vanilla ice cream. Each recipe is accompanied by step-by-step instructions, including variations and preparation tips, anecdotes about Audrey and her life, and a poignant collection of photographs and memorabilia.Audrey at Home is a personal scrapbook of Audrey’s world and the things she loved best—her children, her friends, her pets. It is a life that unfolds through food, photographs, and intimate vignettes in a sophisticated and lovely book that is a must for Audrey Hepburn fans and food lovers.
This is such a very beautiful book. This is much much more than any old book. It’s so much nicer and it has so many beautiful photos of Audrey, her family, her dear and very closest friends and so much more. It even open up to her fans and everyone that admires Audrey and it even let anyone and everyone who love her so much and let you in on the time she’s spent all over the world durning her filming/films and tell of how much time she’s spent durning intimate and private time through her life. She has gone through so much from the times before, durning and after her beautiful career and time she had to endure with her family. It Carrie’s her admires through times of her life that I thought I knew of her life when I actually never honestly knew the dept of. I knew Hepburn endured much throughout her life but never as much as I could have actually truly and honestly could really know the honest meat and potatoes unless I’d gotten this beautiful book put together by the ones that truly knew this queen as much and better than non other than her family and her son. Thank you so much for them for allowing me to deeply and honestly explore as much as I truly loved learning all that I have from her loving friends and especially the true and honest love of her life her children and especially her darling *Luca*. Thank you dearly for opening up and opening my eyes and guiding true admires like myself especially into the life and enjoyment inland all of the things and times of her life that she truly enjoyed and so many of the enjoyments Audrey felt that were so important to her throughout her life especially her charities that she traveled all over the world to fulfill as Ambassador of UNICEF, an advocate for children rights, her mission to Ethiopia, Hepburn was such a beautiful beautiful soul inside and out. The recipes and beautiful stories and pictures of her, friends and her family.. to anyone like myself that truly truly love everything Audrey Hepburn. I first fell in love while watching her for the very first time when I was 13 yrs old and she portrayed Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s I still remember it so well. on a late Sunday evening (that really really was my very first time watching her, watching her in a movie, and it was even the very first time I’d ever even heard of an Audrey Hepburn period. I watched her that late evening on TCM (Time Classic Movie) on television and I had to be interrupted by my mommie bc I had to get to bed but I recorded the movie before I went to bed and finished that next evening watching Holly and I loved her and her character in that movie and feel in love with all of her movies minus the musical she performed, I love her so much but I just couldn’t get into the musical which I’m for sure didn’t hurt the lovely lovely beautiful Hepburn. I love this book and it truly show everything that truly Audrey lovers really really love, including myself. Beautiful book about Audrey Hepburn I mean I can truly go on z& on about my love for Audrey Hepburn ❤️ Rest in Heaven Mrs A. Hepburn ❤️
