The swirling, wavy background design evokes dust and wind being created by the trios race across the open plains.All of my leather quilted products are made using genuine deer or cow hides. Each quilt is carefully designed and stitched to produce a wonderful piece of art for your home.

The trio were stitched onto N. American deer hide and the subtle shading on the horses was created using brown shoe polish.

On the back, the cotton batting is covered by the cotton back fabric. Three edges of back fabric were folded under and glued into place. The remaining top edge of this quilt has a leather binding which was hand-stitched into place using dark brown waxed thread.

A 1 3/4" hanging sleeve was added and a wooden dowel is included to aid in hanging this powerful piece.
