As the title states, I am an atheist (please don't hate me for that). I've been a loyal Backstreet Boys fan for many years, always following the Boys and their careers. So when I saw that Brian was releasing a Christian Rock album, I didn't think twice about buying it, because regardless of the genre, talent is talent. And let me tell you, Brian Littrell is the real deal, baby.This album is composed of deep, thought-provoking, heart warming and sometimes heart breaking songs. Most of the album has a contemporary, alternative rock sound to it, kind of similar to some songs on the Backstreet Boys album, "Never Gone", while a few of the songs sound like music you would hear at church. Littrell showcased his talents not only as a singer, but as a songwriter, having written or co-written 6 out of 12 songs on the album.Let me say that I ended up having to reorder this album from Amazon because my original disc that I bought six years ago got so worn and used, it stopped playing. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this album makes me feel. Brian's music touches something so deep within me, I never get tired of listening to him.For anyone who is skeptical about buying this, either because he's a Backstreet Boy (psshhh.. not that that should be a reason, because BSB rocks!), you aren't religious/don't like religious music, or some other reason, you really need to give this cd a chance, because I promise it won't disappoint!
