I too lost my husband unexpectedly. This book touched me. The best way to review this book is to tell you how it made me feel. It made me feel good and at peace. It brought back memories. My experience was the same and different. An example is the section where Terri talks about reading all she could about grief. I did not do that. But what I did was go to card shops and camp out in the sympathy card section and read card after card. The ones that made me feel good I bought so that I could feel good when I reread them. I needed to read cards that assured me that Tom, my husband is in a better place.As far as reading the book, I was happy to have the short chapters because I could read them and relate them to my own story. The wording was so descriptive and yet easy to read.I would recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one. Especially those who lost the loved one through sudden death.
