An imaginary hedgehog fairy made me famous.A blizzard made me fall in love. When I was a kid I used to doodle pictures of my best friend.Well, my best imaginary friend: Harley the Hedgehog Fairy.Turns out that making up stories about her catapulted me into children's book stardom. Now I'm living my dream and working from home.I’d rather spend my time creating stories than face the real world.Except, my agent has other plans. He's booked me on a signing tour across the country.Six weeks outside of my comfort zone.I thought that was painful - until I saw Morgan Bradford entering a bookstore holding the hand of a little girl.He told me he didn't want commitment. But I guess he didn't want commitment with me.After five painful minutes, I see him off and hope we never cross paths again.I’m not that lucky.A blizzard, a car accident and a concussion send me back to Winter Valley...And under Morgan's care.Maybe I am that lucky.
I loved Home with You, by Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire the second book in their Winter Valley series! I loved every moment on every page of Home with You and could not put it down. Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire did not disappoint their readers with Home with You and delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I love in a holiday love story. Who doesn't love hot sexy men, who make you swoon, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another, and wonderful characters? I loved meeting the Bradford brothers. I really enjoy how Home with You is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love knowing what the main characters are thinking and feeling. My favorite moments in Home with You are the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing out loud. I also love the parts that pull at my heartstrings and cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments Home with You is filled with such moments, and with so much more. Home With You is filled with all those elements that I have come to love and expect in a holiday love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Home With You is the love story of Morgan Bradford, owner of Morgan’s Auto Repair & Body Shop, and Peighton Peterson, author. Peighton writes the children’s book series Harley the Hedgehog under the pseudonym Julie Bryant. Morgan and Peighton were college sweethearts who met at MIT, until Morgan left unexpectedly in his senior year. Peighton is on a book tour with a stop in Aspen, Morgan takes his niece Perry to meet Julie Bryant. While driving on snowy roads, Peighton is involved in a car accident, and Morgan drives past the accident and realizes that it is her. She suffers a concussion and ends us going home with Morgan to recover. As Morgan and Peighton spend time together while Peighton recover things quickly heat up between them. They each admit their true feelings for one another. Morgan shares the secrets about why he left MIT and returned home without her. I love Peighton and Morgan’s love story, and how a plot twist changes things between them. I love all the changes that Morgan is willing to make in his life to have a life and future with Peighton. Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire have created such wonderful and memorable characters in Home with You. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Home with You, the characters feel like family and friends. I loved catching up with the other characters in the series, it felt like a family reunion. I enjoy all the interactions among Bradford siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I loved the bittersweet and poignant moments, as well as the unexpected plot twists. Home With You was a wonderful love story. I love the location of the ending, and how the epilogue was more than a happily ever after. My favorite part of the story is Morgan’s proposal to Peighton, and the significance of the ring that he gives to her in his proposal. I highly recommend this holiday romance. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
