My son has been on his mission for 15 months and every time he calls I attempt to take notes but do a terrible job or jot on the nearest sticky note… Not to mention the fact that I forget everything I wanted to tell him!!When I found this book, I was able to not only organize my notes from his calls, but think of things to talk about! I found myself asking him to tell me something from each box (who to pray for, what challenges you’ve had, something fun that happened, etc) which really enriched our conversations. Plus there is a whole page that I can use to just take notes on random things we talk about. Also, I can share the notes with my husband and family on weeks that they aren’t able to talk to him…And even better, I now have a beautiful journal of calls to present to my missionary when he gets home as another record of memories from his ‘best two years.’The only thing wrong with this journal is that it wasn’t released 15 months sooner ?
