When Mommy's Home with Me is this beautiful book that both my daughter and I love. As a mom it's so easy to feel that if you're not crafty, or musical, or athletic, or whatever another mom is then your child is missing-out on a great mom. In this book it shows all the different ways that moms are awesome as they spend time with their kids doing whatever it is they do. (Reading, pretend, science, art, yoga, fun hairstyles) And really, isn't it about the Time we spend together? I love that some of the moms work, some are stay home moms. Our children of all races will look in the book and see someone who looks like him or her and his or her mom. The illustrations are beautiful.
