The current lineup of GusGus takes us into cuts that explore a deeper corner of trance and hard house, with lyrics that are more internal, troubled, and introspective, with splendid, soaring vocals by Vok and Daniel Agust. Listening to these singles over the past year resonated with particular moments and emotions experienced during the Covid19 lockdowns through to the present day. After receiving this import CD I was struck that it only clocks to just over 37 minutes, but then reminded myself that we are back to albums that actually *fit* on 33 rpm vinyl - play the entire track-listing twice or more on a loop and it flows together perfectly - problem solved.
