Exceptional in every way. Great remastered sound by one of the purist country singers around. I can't believe it took me so long to discover his work. Not a bad song on the album. I also suggest you search for "GENE WATSON AT HIS BEST" which is not currently listed at Amazon. I personally like the remastered works and the "AT HIS BEST" album does not indicate it is remastered, but this album was compiled in 2005 and as far as I can tell it is definately remastered and sounds great. No wonder George Jones says "'Gene Watson is one of my all time favourite country singers.I love the way he belts out a ballad and I would have to say, the one I always think of when someone says Gene Watson is 'Farewell party'.It just doesn't get any better than that!" I agree.
